NEXT GENERAL MEETING DECEMBER 8, 2023

This will be our Holiday Dinner Meeting   The Hospitality Committee is setting up for the last meeting of the season.  Please remember to suppor thte Town Toy Drive and bring a Food Item for the Parade of Food effort to this meeting.

The American Irish Association is supporting the Senior Billiard's Community Wide Toy Drive.  Please bring unwrapped toys to our next two general meetings on Friday - November 10th and also on Friday - December 8th.  If you cannot make those meetings, please support the Toy Drive by bringing the unwrapped Toys to the Community Center and be sure to place it on the American Irish Association Table in theToy Drive Studio Room at the Community Center.  The Toy Drive will end of December 8th.

We have learned of the passing of Daniel Claark on November 22, 2023

Daniel was a recent new member and his passing was quite sudden.  Our prayers are with his family.

 PARADE OF FOOD CAMPAIGN

Bring food items to Support the St. James Food Pantry to all General Meetings throough June 2024.

The Parade of Food campaign within the American Irish Assocaition will continue for the rest of the year and through next year.  Pelase bring non-perishable canned food and dray foods to all of our general meetings from now through June 2024.  We can all also support the Parade of Food campaign by bringing food directly to St. James Church in Woodbridge and  dropping it off at the front inside foyer of the church.  Thank you everyone !

VETERANS COMMITTEE UPDATE:

The Veterans Committee is working with Menlo Park Terrance Veterans Home to procure and install a Jukebox.  This is fantastic news.  We will keep everyone up to date on the progress.

 Congratulations to Joan Dias and three other American Irish Association members - Ann Donegan (Trinity Soup Kitchen), Bob Nilan (VFW Post 6061) and Peggy Foley (Literacy, NJ) on their Volunteer Awards presented October 22, 2023.
