WHAT IS THE PARADE OF FOOD ?

The Association has always been a big supporter for food collection drives and helping to feed those that need that "help" around our town and extended ccommunity.

When the 2021 Parade was cancelled, we took the opportunity to work closely with the town and set up a food collection effort that was incrediby well supported.

During the height of the Pandemic, we learned how important it is to stay focused and remain aware, even during challenging times, to keep supporting those that need this help.

Encouraged by the incredible support for this effort to collect food for the local food banks, we have continued the Parade oof Food every year since, changing the format each year.

2023 and 2024 PARADE OF FOOD

During our Halfway to St. Patrick's Day event on September 17 (2023), the Association raised funds to Support the St. James Food Pantry.  STORY HERE

For the balance of our 2023/2024 meeting and event calendar, we are encouraging all members, guests, and friends of the assocation, along with the enitre town to keep supporting the Food Drive by bringing food items to all of the meeting and events.  We will make sure the food gets delivered to the food banks.

We can all help:  For Example:  15 Years of Adopt a Turkey - St. John Vianney in Colonia
