Activities Include:
  • Sponsoring the Annual St. Patricks Day Parade in Woodbridge
  • Staffing volunteer nights to feed area homeless
  • Organizing picnics and bingos for the NJ Disabled Veterans Home
  • Fundraising for activities such as Project Children
  • Hosting trips and other social activities
    1) Organized trips to Ireland
    2) Foliage trips to the Catskills
    3) Day trips to the Mohegan Sun and Atlantic City
    4) Visits to Monmouth Race track in the summer
    5) Attending social advents held by oher American Irish organizations in the state
    6) Attending special evenings hosted by other civic and heritage groups

Winners of the 3rd Annual American Irish Association of Woodbridge Scholarship:

Woodbridge High School: -> Casey Jurgens
John F.Kennedy High School: -> Brittany Torstrup & Danielle Egan
Colonia High School: -> Danielle Clifford
Bishop George Ahr High School: -> Thomas McWatters

Each winner received $100 and was invited to read their winning essay at our club meeting in June.

Winners are chosen by select High Schools based upon the candidate's outstanding character and community service along with the quality of an essay entitled, "My Irish Heritage". Applicants must be residents of Woodbridge Township.

Scholarship applications are available in the guidance department of all Three (3) Woodbridge Township High Schools along with Bishop George Ahr High School, Cardinal McCarrick High School, Mother Seton High School, Saint Joseph High School and Mount Saint Mary High School.
